Privacy policy

The short version: we ask for your website and your email so we can audit the site and send you the result. That’s all we use them for.

Who we are

FixGuider runs fixguider.com and audits websites for search problems. You can reach us at hello@fixguider.com.

What we collect

• What you type into our form: your website address, your email, and, if you fill them in, the problem you picked and your note.
• The country your request came from and the time it arrived, as reported by our host.
• A one-way scrambled version of your IP address, kept only to stop one person flooding the form. We can’t turn it back into your address, and it changes every day.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites. We don’t use cookies for analytics or advertising, and we don’t run ad trackers.

Why we use it

To audit the site you named, send you the audit, and reply to you. If you ask us for a price on fixes, we use the same details to send it. We don’t sell your details and we don’t add you to a mailing list.

If we wrote to you first

We sometimes find a site with problems we can fix and send its owner the audit before they ask. In that case we used the business email published on the site or its public listing. Reply “no thanks” and we won’t write again; ask us and we’ll delete what we have about you.

Who else handles it

• Cloudflare hosts this site, stores the requests and delivers our email notifications.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form was sent by a person. It runs only when you use a form.

How long we keep it

As long as we need it to do the audit and answer you, and no more than 24 months after our last message to each other. Then we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@fixguider.com from the address you gave us and we’ll do it.
